He was born on June 26, 1939, in Fond du Lac, the son of Henry and Marlea Boland Fox. He was a graduate of L.P. Goodrich High School, Class of 1958. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Bob worked for the Soo Line Railroad as a conductor. Bob was the original one-of-a-kind type of guy. He enjoyed talking with and meeting new people, who enjoyed visiting with him.
He is survived by his children: Robert Fox of Visalia, CA, Christine (Thomas) Lazarski of Lindenhurst, IL and Henry Fox Monsey, NY; his stepson David Handel of Janesville, WI; his grandchildren: Jacob Fox, Noah Fox, Sam Fox, Ben Fox and Lauren Lazarski; his sisters: Betty Patterson of Fond du Lac and Joan Coyle of Rye, NY, his former wife Sally Gloyd of Oshkosh and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his siblings: Patricia (Bob) Colton, David Fox, Henry (Carol) Fox, Jeanette (William) Koehn and infant Ruth Ann.
VISITATION: Friends may come from 10:00 – 12:00 PM, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Kurki Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac.
SERVICES: At 12:00 PM we will then process to Calvary Cemetery, where Graveside Funeral Services will take place. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 will conduct Military Services.
