He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Denise Moen, daughters, Stephanie Wetherington and her husband, Jason, and Jackie Smith and her husband, Brian; 10 grandchildren, Koah, Abigail, Emerson, Wilder, Ryder, Anchor, Ever, Stori, Brave, and Max; brothers, Donnie Moen and his wife, Dianne, and Jon Moen and his wife, Dianne; sisters, Jan Sleeper and her husband, David; Lisa Messina and her husband, Joe, and Donna Furnish; mother-in-law, Bernice Wilkerson (Nana); brother-in-law, Todd Wilkerson and his wife, Suzanne; brother-in-law, Bruce Wilkerson and his wife, Christine; sister-in-law, Dawn Brook and her husband, Richard; sister-in-law, Debbie Moen; 25 nieces and nephews and 43 great nieces and nephews; loving family and friends.

Eddie was a graduate of Hernando High School where he was very active in sports (baseball, football, basketball). His proudest sports moment was being the youngest member of the 1967 Baseball State Championship Team and being inducted into the HHS Sports Hall of Fame.
He attended St. Pete Jr. College and began his first career at Winn-Dixie as a bag boy at the age of 16, and eventually worked his way up to Meat Market Manager. Upon retiring from Winn-Dixie of 20 years; Eddie began his second career as a driver for UPS. He spent 23 years with UPS, was an active member of the Safety Team, and was adored by his customers as he often went the extra mile for them and always had a smile on his face.

Eddie loved the great outdoors and he and Denise enjoyed introducing their two daughters and 10 grandchildren to the great outdoors by way of camping trips and family vacations to the mountains and the beach. Family trips, vacations, and making memories with his family became even more important after his first cancer diagnosis 11 years ago when doctors gave Ed approximately 3 years to live. After numerous medical procedures, chemotherapy, surviving several rare, aggressive cancers, and a bone marrow transplant, Moffitt Cancer Center doctors fondly nicknamed Eddie "Miracle Man".
As a 46 year member of Grace World Outreach Church, Eddie served in various volunteer roles from Children's Church teacher alongside his wife, Denise; to Deacon and Board Member. Faith and Family were top priorities in Eddie's life. Ed's love for God and his family were evident in everything he did and guided all his decisions. He loved others and cared deeply. Eddie will be dearly missed by not only his family but by the entire community.
