of Elaine, AR

August 26, 1954 - September 14, 2021

Susan "Miss Susie" Fraiser Griffith, age 67, of Elaine, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Susie was born August 26, 1954 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Marion Dixon and Bessie Fraiser.

Susie taught K4 for 23 years at DeSoto School and she was a member of Elaine Baptist Church. A lifelong love of swimming led her to teach swimming lessons for 40 years to many a child and adult in Phillips County. Susie also loved sports, specifically watching her two favorite teams: the DeSoto Thunderbirds and the Arkansas Razorbacks. More than anything though, Susie loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and by one sister, Wanda Frasier Wood.

A service for Susie Griffith will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the DeSoto School gym. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Luke Watson will officiate.
