Dorothy M. Larch, 86, of Elkview died Wednesday, March 12, 1997, in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a homemaker, lifelong resident of Kanawha County and a member of the Frame Community Church. Surviving: sons, Eugene and Kenneth Chapman, of Elkview, Romie Chapman of Walton; brothers, Orville Shaffer of Elkview, Ervin Shaffer of California; sisters, Cedena Rucker of Elkview, Margaret Sampson Kidd of Cleveland, Ohio, Bertha Carnes of St. Albans; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview, with the Rev. Wayne Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Shaffer Cemetery, Big Fork, Frame.
