She was predeceased by her sister Jean Whittaker and her special brother Joseph V. Karas.
Agnes retired from the Duanesburg Central School District where she was employed as a Paraprofessional working in the reading program. She loved life and enjoyed being with her family and many friends. She also liked to travel and so enjoyed getting in their camper and going all over these United States with her husband Don, and at times family members. Life was good. Smile when you think of her.
She loved children and would like everyone, who so desires, to donate to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org, or the Michael J. Fox Parkinson's Disease Foundation at michaeljfox.org.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 – 6 pm at the White-Van Buren Funeral Home, 1779 Main St. Delanson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Monday, 10 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Delanson. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery.
