Keith "Shorty" A. Johnson, 78, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021. He was born on July 10, 1943, the son of Kenneth Johnson and Arena (Koch) Johnson. Shorty was the owner and operator of Shorty's Cycle for over 35 years.
Shorty is survived by his wife, Diann Johnson; daughter, Andrea (Rich) Weathers; son, Scott Johnson; four grandchildren, Alicia (Luke) Snyder, Kelsey (Randy) Schultz, Michael (Bella) Weathers, and Hunter Johnson; five great-grandchildren; brother, David Johnson, and brother-in-law, Jeff (Sue) Gonyer. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He enjoyed Tuesday night card night at the shop, Canadian fishing trips. Corvettes, motorcycles and his family. Shorty never met a stranger and easily added all to his huge circle of friends. He was always willing to help anyone. Shorty was the definition of Honesty and Integrity. Shorty was and will always be a Legend in the hearts of his family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 West Dickman Road, on Friday September 17, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Baxter's, on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens
