The first sketch, Hardin Wilson, p.1124, states his father was Felix Wilson b. ca 1814 and his grandfather was George Wilson, b. VA, died 1855 in northern Grayson Co., KY near Falls of Rough.

The second sketch, Ellis Kelly, p.1112, states his mother was Caroline (Wilson) Kelly, the daughter of George Wilson. That George Wilson was born December 30, 1782 and came to KY from Stafford County, VA in 1785, when he was three years old with his father William Wilson.

The family settled in Scott County, KY a few years, then moved near the Falls of Rough in what became Grayson County by 1810. William Wilson, the patriarch, died at age 73 on April 4, 1821 leaving his wife and eight living children: James, William, Hannah, John, Thomas, George, Charles, Elizabeth, Mary, Joseph and Benjamin (twins). In 1886 at the time of the printing the sketch states three of the eight children were dead.

Source - Perrin, Battle, & Kniffin's History of Kentucky, Edition 3 Easley, SC: Southern Historical Press reprint, 1979) contains two bio sketches that appear to be the same William Wilson family. George Wilson was the son of William Wilson and Elizabeth Latimore. He was born in Stafford County, Virginia on December 30, 1782. He died in 1855 in Grayson County, Kentucky.

George and Eleanor Collins Crask were married on September 1, 1808 in Ohio County, Kentucky. The area where they lived fell into the newly created Grayson County in 1810.

George and Eleanor were the parents of:

George, his wife Eleanor, their daughter Caroline and her husband William S. Kelly are all buried in the small family cemetery known as the George Wilson Cemetery. It is located on the south side of Highway #62 near Spring Lick, Grayson County, Kentucky opposite the Kelly Cemetery.
