The first-born daughter of Loren Green and Mary Etta Marie Nicholas Green was born August 25, 1936 in Wagoner, Oklahoma. When she was at Ramona High School, she was the top scoring point guard on her basketball team. She was first introduced to Bob Holt in 1956 when he joined her bowling league in California and they had a natural chemistry. They began dating and married on February 16, 1957. The newly-wed couple made their first home in Los Angeles, California. In the years to follow, they would live in Houston, Denver, Ponca City, Ventura, Claremore and finally settled in Tulsa. Together they raised four children: Brigita Denise, Balisa Jo, Bobette Deneé, and Byron Hardy.

Betty was a long-time member of Victory Christian Center in Tulsa. She enjoyed everything that life had to offer and she shared that joy with every person she met. She especially loved spending time with her family, spreading the message of Jesus Christ, staying up all night before a holiday cooking an entire dinner and desserts for her family and anyone else that wandered by. She was a hamburger lover, always searching for the best burger in town.

She is preceded in death by her parents Loren and Marie Green, and 3 brothers, Gary, Daniel, and Loren Dale. Those family members that survive include her husband of 64 years, Bob Holt; her children Brigita Pepper and husband Tom, Balisa Sherman, Bobette Liebman and husband Rick, and Bryon Holt; her grandchildren Chad Sherman, Kylee Phillips, Ashton Pepper, and Alexis Liebman; great grandson Everett Malkmus; brother Troy Green, and sisters Vera Howard, Patsy Tweedy, and Sonda Gail Azzam.
