Linda Grace Redmond, age 78, of Minor, Al., passed away September 11, 2021. She grew up in McDonald's Chapel, and graduated from Minor High School. Linda was a member of Garywood Assembly of God. She was employed at Birmingham City Hall for a short period of time, before marrying her husband of 58 years and having children. For the past 57 years she was a homemaker who took great care of her family and loved them very much.
She is preceded in death by her parents Clyde Austin and Ella Kathleen Dockins. She is survived by her husband Don Redmond; children Ronnie Redmond (Lisa), and Renee' Jordan (Kyle); grandchildren Daniel Redmond, Drake Brown, McKenzie Brown, and Courtland Jordan; sister Alice Dockins.
The visitation will be Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home, from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, with Bro. Jeff Leatherman officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.
