Diane Stewart Barber, 77, of Fayetteville passed away on September 13, 2021. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on June 14, 1944 to the late Guy and Olive Stewart. Diane worked in the children's department at New Hope Baptist Church for many years. She loved cooking, traveling, and being with her grandchildren.
Diane is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gene Barber; children, Ronnie Barber (Stacy), Jimmy Barber (Karen), Keith Barber (Christi), and Amy Roach (Steve); grandchildren, Max (Kathryn), Eli (Ashley), Jessica, Ryan, Austin, Ansley, Olivia, Sydney, Hayley, Colton; and great-grandchild, Jackson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
