Susan Rebecca Thomas of St. Pauls was born on February 25, 1960 in Robeson County to the late Horace Nash Register and Shirley Marie Holloman Merritt and departed this life on September 12, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital completing her journey of 61 years.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Harvey & Juanita Holloman and her paternal grandparents: Clarence & Irene Register.

Mrs. Thomas leaves to cherish her memories, her husband: Clyde Thomas of the home; her son: Kelvin Marcus Thomas of the home; her sisters: Deborah Bass of St. Pauls, Carolyn Fauscett of Virginia, Gloria Houlton of St. Pauls, and Kathy Beddow of Boiling Spring Lakes as well as a host of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Thomas was a giving and loving person known for her willingness to help others in any way she could. She enjoyed crafting and made all types of things like jewelry, door wreaths, and even facial masks.
