He was born on November 26th, 1955 in Las Vegas, NM to Harry Russell and Frutosa Palomino.
Christy loved working on cars, fishing, camping, yard work, spending time with family and BBQ's.
Christy loved to be around his family and friends. He enjoyed cruising around beautiful Las Vegas, NM.
He is preceded in death by his father: Harry Russell, mother: Frutosa Palomino, brother-in-law: Alfredo Sanchez, nephews: Alfred Sanchez, and Anthony Sanchez, and niece: Amanda Martinez.
He is survived by his children: Shermaine Lujan, Christopher Russell, Amy Watson (Isidro), sisters: Madeline Sanchez, Rosie (Raymond) Muniz, brothers: Anthony Russell, Richard Russell, Goddaughter: Angela Pacheco, (BJ) fiancé Tomasita Romero and her children, Monica Romero and Jimmy Romero, numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Rosary service will be recited at 7:00pm on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church. Funeral service will be held at 9:00am on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant.
Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers Albert Sanchez, BJ Pacheco, Anthony Russell, Richard Palomino, Alex Pacheco and Angela Pacheco.
