Jewell B. Wright Jr., age 82, passed away peacefully, Nov. 30, 2007, at his home in Bountiful, Utah. He was born May 5, 1925, in Princeton, New Jersey, to Jewell B. and Estella May Durling Wright. He was married to his sweetheart Marjorie Louise Sanders for 64 years. Jewell and Marjorie moved to Bountiful in 1989. He graduated from Princeton High School. He was a decorated World War II veteran serving in the 3rd Army, 159th Infantry Division in France and Germany. He retired from Public Service Electric & Gas Company after 30 years. He was past Commander of the American Legion, Hamilton Twp. N.J. Post 31, and was a member of Mercer County Voiture Forty and Eight #235.




He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; four children, William J. (Suzanne) of Centerville, UT; Robert M. (Joan) of Fort Bragg, CA; J.B. III, of Charlotte, NC; and Judith (Robert) Sibulkin of Atlantis, FL; seven grandchildren, Melissa Aston, Blaine Wright, Robin Rogers, Amy McGowan, Laura O'Neil, Nicole Wright and Kyle Wright; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Esther Webster and brothers, David, George and Stanley and great great-grandson, Gage Graner.




Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 4th at 11 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 N. Main Street, Bountiful, where a viewing will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and also Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Interment: Bountiful Memorial Park.
