Stephen Henry Waters, born May 9, 1943 in Santa Barbara, CA, to George and Audrey Waters, passed away on December 18, 2015 after a courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

Steve grew up seeing the world as part of a military family, and attended high school in Heidelberg, Germany. He came to Washington after graduating from the University of Arizona in 1965 and began his career as an engineer with Boeing.

In 1970, he met and married the love of his life, Dianne. Together they raised two wonderful daughters. After 35 years with Boeing, Steve retired and pursued his love of genealogy. His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and friends.

Steve is survived by his wife of 45 years Dianne, his brother Mike, his two daughters Pamela Jonas and Suzanne Akana and six grandchildren.

Family and friends will miss Steve dearly but he will be in our hearts forever. Anyone who knew Steve and would like to celebrate his life may join us at the memorial service on Tuesday December 29, 2015 at 11:00 am at Bonnie Watson in Federal Way, Wa. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association. http://www.lbda.org/donate
