Kathleen Frances Edwards, 76, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 - 11:30 am, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Sundberg Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Madrid, Iowa. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Madrid, Iowa.
Kathleen was born May 30, 1945, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Edward and Theresa (Sweeney) Carroll. She was a 1963 graduate of Granger Assumption School.
She was united in marriage to Gary Edwards on November 6, 1965 in Granger, Iowa.
Kathleen worked for 28 years at America's Pharmacy, retiring in 1997.
She was an avid Iowa State University and Madrid Tiger fan. She also enjoyed watching NBA basketball. Another favorite pastime was playing the "one-armed bandits".
Her biggest joy was family and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Especially making the family play BINGO at holiday gatherings.
Kathleen had requested no flowers. Contributions may be made to the family.
