Dwight E. "Bundy" Newton, age 52, of Mount Vernon, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on January 10, 2021.

He was born on September 4, 1968 in Mount Vernon to Elmer Lloyd and Loretta Jean (Sovine) Newton.

Bundy was employed by Domino's for 20 years. He was an avid Steelers fan. He enjoyed playing Poker, bowling, and going to the gym. He was known as a jokester and liked to make people laugh.

He is survived by fur babies Patches and Butters; two sisters Parthenia (Max) Brokaw of Mount Vernon and Mary (Steve) Eidt of Toledo; nieces Laura (Shawn) Looney of Mount Vernon, Samantha Brokaw of Mount Vernon, Cheryl (Travis) Moody of Toledo; great nieces Monica, Nevaeh, and Abby; great nephews Austin, Devontae, Aaron, Logan, Alex, Tyler, Colin; great great niece Kinsley, and friend Jim Cline and the Domino's family; his 3 aunts and many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Elmer Lloyd Newton, his mother Loretta Jean (Sovine) Young, his best friend George Orr, many Aunts and Uncles, and his favorite dogs Kane and Faith.

Friends may call at the Lasater Funeral Home on Saturday January 16, 2021, from 2:00-4:00 PM. The family will observe a private burial.
