Paul Andrew Roten, 82 of Bluefield, VA went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 12, 2021. Born in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of the late Walter M. and Eliza Jane Hall Roten. Paul was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy of Bluefield, VA and also attended Full Gospel Church in Boissevain, VA. He liked to fish and enjoyed family get-togethers. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings: Virginia Simmons, Mamie Carroll, Martha Proffitt, Josie Roaten, Thelma Proffitt, Leonard Roaten, Lula Dunford, Paul Roten, Thomas Roten and Charlotte Roten.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 60 years, a lovely woman, Charlotte Witt Roten of Bluefield, VA; his children: Scott Roten, Chris Roten (Tammy), Diane McGuire, Rebecca Roten all of Bluefield, VA and Lillian Johnston (Justin Asbury) of Radford, VA; grandchildren: McKenzy McGuire (Chelsy), Isaac Roten, Charls Roten, Britni Johnston, James Roten and Priscilla Roten; great-grandchildren: Ayden and Luka McGuire; his beloved fur-baby: Frisky.

A service to celebrate Paul's life will be held at Dudley Memorial Chapel with Pastor Vic Phillips officiating. The day and time of this service will be posted as soon as the details are confirmed.
