A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Hefley officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Martha's family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Martha entered into this life on October 9, 1931, in Adams, Tennessee to the late Ernest and Lucile Crosby Tolleson. She was retired from a career with Trane Company where she worked as a Scheduler. Martha especially enjoyed spending time with her family and watching sports, particularly football. Also, Martha was a member of the church family at First Baptist Church of Clarksville.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Vaughan and her sister, Muriel Long.
Survivors include her son, Clay Smith and his wife Sherrie, daughter, Celia Lankford and her husband Wayne; grandchildren, Ashley Smith Ranieri (Michael), Courtney Wallace (Kris); great-grandchildren, Sebastian Ranieri and Landen Wallace; and her sister, Beth Murphy.
