James Edward Colley, 82, of Ashville, AL., passed away on September 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister. He leaves behind his wife Gwendolyn Tolbert Colley; daughters Revonda Brown (Jerry), Paula Ewing (Dana) and Tanya Gaston (Craig); sons Marty Colley (Marie), Edward Colley (Candace) and Ricky Colley (Julie); twenty-one grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister Minnie Lou Hanks; brothers Donald Colley, Hobart Colley, Larry Colley, Tommy Colley, Benny Colley, Joe Taylor and Dennis Colley. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Lemley Funeral Home from 4 PM until 8 PM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, Ashville, AL with Bro. Billy Wakefield presiding. Lemley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
