Debbie Fay (Jolley) Gray, 61, of Calhoun, Georgia died Sunday, September 12, 2021, at AdventHealth Gordon from complications of COVID-19.

Debbie was born in Rome, Georgia on March 12, 1960, the daughter of the late Maurice and Opal Stansell Jolley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Gray in 2010 and her brother, Grady Jolley. She was a member of the 1978 graduating class at Calhoun High School and was a proud four-year member of the Calhoun High School Yellow Jacket Marching Band. She was employed by the Gordon County Board of Education for the past 17 years and served as secretary to the board and technology secretary.

Survivors include her son, Joshua Gray and his wife Cameron; stepdaughters, Jenny Moore and her husband Jason, Cora Gray; step-son, Charles Gray, and his fiancé, Carrie Jones; a sister; Vicki Jolley; brother, Emory Jolly and his wife Carol; grandchildren, Mollie Owens, Megan Owens, Ben Moore, Tanner Gray, Mildred Williams; great-grandchildren, Kennedi Gray and Madison Gray; sister-in-law, Sharon Jolley; niece, Danita Abernathy; great-niece and nephew, Kenlie Abernathy and Ned Abernathy.

Funeral services for Debbie Jolley Gray will be conducted Thursday, September 16th at 2:00 PM from New Town Baptist Church with Rev. Stacy Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include, Jonathan Brooks, Jason Moore, Kelly Hensley, Robbie Sharp, Tanner Gray, and Danny Cole. Honorary pallbearers are Phil Robbins, Phyllis Hensley, Amelia Smith, Robyn Calhoun, and Linda Whitacre.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Wednesday, September 15th between the hours of 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM and on Thursday, September 16th at New Town Baptist Church from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
