Susan (Haggerty) Lyons, 79 of Linfield, formerly of Havertown, wife of the late Martin Lyons, passed away peacefully on Friday September 10, 2021 at her residence.
Born in Bryn Mawr, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Bridget (Hilferty) Haggerty.
Susan devoted her personal life to her family and friends, always ensuring that everyone was happy, healthy and having fun. She devoted her professional life as a teacher's assistant to students with special needs. Susan was very active in her Villas community, enjoying time with friends, playing cards, lounging by the pool and attending every social event.
Surviving is her daughter Megan Kephart wife of Marc; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, Susan was predeceased by her sister Margaret Eberle.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday September 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville, PA 19473, with Fr. Paul Brandt officiating. Interment will be private at St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9:00-10:45 AM at the church.
