Ruth Elizabeth Dixon White, 93, of Cowpens passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at her home. Ruth was born in Woodruff, SC on August 6, 1928 to the late Walter Lee and Grace Eppley Dixon. She was the wife of the late James Vernon White and a member of Harris Baptist Church where she played the piano for many years.
Left to cherish her memory is one granddaughter, Sharon Spake (Michael); two grandsons, Jimmy White and Joe White; one sister, Faye Cooley; one daughter-in-law, Linda Calvert; five great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. The family would like to thank her caregiver Loretta Cooper for taking great care of Beth. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son Dennis White, two sisters, Margaret Ervin and Maye Collins; two brothers, Walter "Dub" Dixon and Alvin Dixon.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, September 17, 2021 at Springhill Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Buddy Robbins officiating. Interment will follow.
