Bobby Byrd, age 67, of Cohutta, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Hamilton Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Vianna Byrd; brothers, Charles and Mark Byrd and sister, Jean Ford.
Bobby worked at Shaw Industries for thirty eight years. He loved his family and spending time with them. He also loved playing with his grand dog, Ryder.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Charlotte Byrd,; three daughters and sons-in-law, Tonya Monk of Tunnel Hill, Kendra Rodgers and fiancé Jeff Carrier of Cohutta, and Charity and Jamie King of Cohutta; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Margaret Byrd and Audy and Debbie Byrd, all of Oneida; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, George Ford and Ricky and Marilyn Lowe, all of Dalton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Farrell Cucksee of Cohutta; grandchildren, Hannah and Brent Rodgers, Bryson, Tyson, Kobe and Jalen King, Landry Monk; several special nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Jim West officiating.
Burial will be at Good Hope Cemetery.
