Parents William James Hart and Dorthy C. Viney Elledge
Thomas Sidney Hart passed on Thursday Sept 9th 2021 at home surrounded by his loving wife and family. Tom was Born Feb 16th, 1950 in Sulphur Springs, TX and later moved to Monument, NM. He moved there when he was just 2 years old. He was raised by his parents along with 4 siblings. He attended Monument School and held the track record. He was so proud of that because no one else could beat him, because the building burned down. Then Tom attended Hobbs High School where he enjoyed being on the boxing team. After high school he worked in the oil fields in Hobbs, NM. Tom was an avid fisherman and lived for the fish bigger than 20lbs which was his heaviest fish on rod-n-reel, he always lived for his next big hit! At the age of 19 Tom met the catch of his life Linda. They met at the drive-in movies; Linda was just 17. They spent all their free time together, going to the movies, playing mini golf, cruised Broadway in their hometown of Hobbs and shared malts and French fries. They spent every Sunday at Tom's parent's place along with his 4 siblings and their families. Within 6 months of meeting they were married and had 52 wonderful years together. Tom was preceded in death by parents William Hart, Dorothy Hart (Elledge), siblings James W Hart, Hubert Hart, Janie Sue Shu, Jerry Hart and great grandson Wyatt Sexton. Tom is survived by his loving wife Linda, Daughter Tonya Swillling and her husband Rocky, son James Hart and his wife Jen. Grandchildren Justin Flewelling, James Flewelling and wife Jessica, Kayla Hart, Kyle Hart, Brodie Sexton and her Husband Todd, Jackson Thurston and 11 great grandchildren. All are welcome to attend a celebration of Tom's life at 7PM on Sept 25th at the home of Tonya Swilling 4083 FM1287, Graham TX 76450.
