Robert Earl Huffman, Jr., 67, passed away September 5, 2021 at his home in Daleville.

Robert was born February 17, 1954 in San Diego, CA and was the son of the late Robert Earl Huffman, Sr. and Patricia Lee (Griffis) Huffman.

Robert was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with and caring for his family. Robert enjoyed teaching all of his grandchildren to fish and hunt. He was a hard-working provider and had been employed with Ball State University as a carpenter and also with the United States Postal Service as a postal employee in Carmel. Robert was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone and had a great sense of humor. He always had a new joke to tell and enjoyed chatting with his friends at the Daleville Shell Station. He attended church at Madison Park Church in Anderson and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post in Daleville.

Robert is survived by a son Josh Huffman and a daughter Jessica Mitchell; two grandchildren Phoenix Huffman and Allyson Lawrence; three great-grandchildren Hayden Huffman, Riley Hudson and Mattilyn Huffman; two brothers Mick and Lee Huffman, and a sister Suzy Cockrill.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert Earl Huffman, Sr. and Patricia Lee (Griffis) Huffman.

Memorial Services for Robert will be held at a later date.
