Altavista………Virginia Ruth Reynolds Harris, age 65 of Altavista died Friday, September 10, 2021 at Autumn Care of Altavista.

Born February 11, 1956 in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late Willie Franklin Reynolds and Lula Compton Walker. She was predeceased by one sister, Phyllis. She was a member of Elim Assembly of God and she was a former employee of Nesbe Cable. She loved going to church, and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Harris and fiancée, Stephanie Mayhew of Altavista, and Stuart Harris of Gretna; three grandchildren, Miranda Harris, Carly Harris, and Haley Harris; two great-grandchildren, Oliver Harris, and Charlotte Harris; her longtime companion, Ronnie Chumley; and her lifelong friends, Chris Franklin, and Toni Thacker.

Memorial services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Elim Assembly of God in Altavista by Pastor David Rowland.
