Jimmie L. Pruitt Wofford, 74, of Greenville, TX, passed away on September 7, 2021, at Broadmoor Medical Lodge in Rockwall surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. Nate King officiating. Interment will follow the service at Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Jimmie was born on February 7, 1947 in McKinney, Texas to Sidney Lee Pruitt and Ina Lou Smith. Jimmie married George W. Wofford JR., on March 9, 1968 in Altoga, Texas. Jimmie was a retired Greenville ISD teacher with 36 years of dedicated teaching. Jimmie was a faithful member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Jimmie is survived by her husband G. W. Wofford, son Jeremy Wofford and wife Misty of Royse City, brother Sidney Mack Pruitt of Colorado Springs, Colorado, grandchildren Brandon Joel Wofford and wife Jennifer, Connor Jakub Wofford, Dillon Jaxon Wofford, Chasity Mashell Wofford, William Hayden Wofford, Logan Miles Wofford and daughter in law Cici Wofford.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Wofford, Connor Wofford, Dillon Wofford, Hayden Wofford, Logan Wofford and Blake Berry.
Jimmie is preceded in death by her parents, sisters LaVada Eubanks and Wanda Ramsey, son Steven Wofford and nephew Brady Berry.
