Canadian professional football player. Before starting his professional career he played football Calgary and in Kitchener with the Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen. He started his professional career as a tackle in 1955 with the Edmonton Eskimos where he stayed for one season. Next he played with the Calgary Stampeders from 1956 until the end of the 1959 season. In the 1960 season he returned to the Edmonton Eskimos where he retired at the end of the season. While with the Edmonton Eskimos in 1956 he helped them to win the Grey Cup champion. In his 8 year career he played in 68 games. He was married to Linda Lamb (nee Gillespie) who passed away in early 2021. Together they had 3 sons and 2 daughters
