Mrs. Shirley Ruth Franklin, age 84, of Glencoe, died Thursday, September 9, 2021. Due to the present covid situation, the family will announce a memorial service to be held at a later
Shirley will be remembered as an independent, God fearing, honest loving woman, faithful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and especially family and friends. Shirley was retired from the Etowah county school system and was a graduate of Glencoe High School. Her opinions were honest and straight forward. She was loved and will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Clifford, brother Gene Campbell and parents Maggie and L.C. Campbell.
She is survived by daughter Donna(Tommy) Roebuck, granddaughter, Kasey(Chris) Hays, great grandchildren, Ella Ruth, Ruby Clair and Kate Hays, nieces Vickie(James) Myrick, Gina Payne and Susan Black, sister in-law Pat Hill, her pet and companion Tinker Bell and all her Green Valley Road family
