Goldsboro-Danny Ray Potter, 65, passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Somerset Court where he was a resident. Born in Wayne County on July 19, 1956, he was the son of the late Grover Potter and Sarah Jones Brown. Danny is survived by his daughters, Sarah Sparrow and Jennifer Deleon (Joel); brothers, Charles Thomas Potter (Ann), Wayne Potter (Sandra), and Bobby Gene Potter (Lucille); sisters, Brenda Faye Sugg (Charles) and Darlene Howell (Tony); six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Danny was well known as a skilled and accomplished furniture refinisher. He worked with Clark Auction Company in Goldsboro. A service to celebrate Danny's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in the Chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Rose officiating.
