Ms. Cassandra Ward, age 55, of Headland, Alabama passed away Saturday, September 4, 2021.

The family will be having a private service for Ms. Cassandra Ward.

Cassandra J. Moore Ward was born September 21, 1965, to the late Joseph Moore, Jr. and Birleta Skipper Moore, in Henry County, Alabama.

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, at an early age. She was educated in the Henry County School System. After finishing school, Cassandra went on to obtain employment with the Army Fleet Support, on the Fort Rucker Military Base, as a record keeper and helicopter training assistant.

On September 4, 2021, Cassandra went home to be with her Heavenly Father Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings; and one uncle.

She leaves behind two sons: Kendall Ward, Sr. and Elliot Ward both of Huntsville, Alabama; one grandchild: Kendall Ward, Jr.; four sisters: Angenette (Dr. George) Hogan of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Sherita Moore of Caryville, Florida, Miranda "Miran Yvette" Williams of Dothan, Alabama, and Katrina Moore of Newville, Alabama; uncle: Jerome (Jewel) Skipper; three aunts: Beatrice Brantley, Eunice Floyd, and Merler Mae Davis all of Dothan, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
