Donald Thomas Sheridan, 84, of Las Vegas, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 at 4:40 AM at home. He was born September 5, 1924, in Ohio. Don was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran and served in the China-Burma-India War Theater during World War II. He was a retired operating engineer. Don was a beloved husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; and three sons, Donald, Phillip and his wife, Peggy, and David. He will be laid to rest at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City at a later date. Don will always be loved and missed.

Donald was a 1942 graduate of Vienna High School in Vienna, Ohio.
NOTE: Per the Sheridan family, Donald was cremated and NOT interred in a cemetery. The Veterans Affairs Nationwide Gravesite Locator website indicates that he was buried in Vienna Cemetery, Vienna, Trumbull County, Ohio, but he was not, as this was an error. Per the Vienna Cemetery sexton there is no record of him being interred to the cemetery in Vienna.
