James Pinkney Manning, age 84 of Ellijay, GA passed on Friday, September 3, 2021. He was born May 7, 1937 in Ellijay, GA to his late parents Benjamin Franklin and Isabell Arizonia (Newton) Manning. James was a member on the Northcutt Baptist Church. James served honorably in the US Army in the Korean War. James also owned and operated Manning Construction Company. He is preceded in death by his brother Franklin Leroy Manning. Survivors include his daughter Shannon Leigh Ridings, Ellijay, GA, grand children Kristie Ridings and Willie Ridings, Ellijay. GA. Memorial service will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Logan Funeral Home Pavilion with Rev. Glen Arnold and the North Georgia Honor Guard officiating.
