The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Northside Baptist Church, internment will follow in the Poulan Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Cargle and Rev. Donnie Wright will officiate.
Mrs. Dixon was born on September 10, 1944 in Rhine, Georgia to the late Curtis Ryals and Essie Mae Myers Harrell. She had lived in Worth County since 1978. Mrs. Dixon was retired from Wal-Mart in Tifton, GA. She enjoyed fishing, camping and working with her flowers; but most importantly she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Dixon of Worth County; daughters, Cynthia Hughes (Tommy) of Leesburg, Vashea Hall (Clay) of Tifton; daughter-in-law, Cindy Dixon York of Worth County; grandchildren, Cale Dixon (Anna), Dylan Hughes, Kayla Dixon Sauls, Leigh Hall Carter (Jess), Jake Hall; great-grandchildren, Bryce Andrew Sauls, Rhett Marvin Dixon, Ryder Joseph Dixon; sisters, Janette Hardeman (Russell), Lillian Dixon Purvis (Clint), Dale Hulett; brothers, Tommy Ryals, Bobby Jo Ryals (Tricia), Gary Ryals (Ceya); sister-in-law, Bernice Ryals; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Marvin Dixon on June 20, 2003; and a brother, William Ryals.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at Northside Baptist Church.
