James P. Hanson age 77, passed away September 11, 2021. Preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Agnes (Potaracke) Hanson. Survived by his loving wife of 36 years, son, daughter, son-in-law, 2 grandchildren, and newest grandchild due in October; numerous siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, close friends and "Two Baby", for those who know, no explanation is necessary and for those who don't the explanation is too lengthy and the newspaper charges by the word. U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran, former member of the Brothers of the Good Shepherd and a Special Olympics Coach for many years. He volunteered at Mount Carmel Hospice for 10 years working with Veterans, he was a Member of the St. Mary Church traditional choir. Jim was a dedicated man of faith, service and abiding love.
