He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Kata (K.) of forty-four wonderful years. Enrique will be greatly missed by his children Helen Gonzales, Tony (Lucy) Torres, Ricky (Linda) Torres, Jimmy (Ana) Torres. Also survived by his sister Charlotte Ramirez, stepchildren Terry Neubauer and Dale Gouldie as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
From 1947 to 1968, Enrique wrestled professionally achieving many titles. He retired at the top of his wrestling career. During his retirement, Enrique and Kata enjoyed their time together living in San Fernando, CA and Incline Village, Nevada. They then moved to Calgary and have resided here for the last twenty years.

Enrique, along with his brothers Alberto and Ramon, wrestled as the famous Torres Brothers. Their hometown was Santa Ana, California. Enrique was trained by Baron Benny Ginsberg and made his debut in June 1946. He was a major star on the California wrestling circuit and held the Los Angeles version of the world title in the 1950s. Signature moves were the Bombs Away (kneebuster) and Flying Scissors.
