Norma was born on November 28, 1942 in Iloilo, Philippines. She moved as a young child to the United States and was raised and graduated from Gonzales High School in 1962. Norma later met her husband Hector and raised their four children in Salinas. She went on to attend Hartnell College and retired from Pacific Bell.

She was a fun, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Hui O' Aloha from Monterey, CA for many, many years. She enjoyed bowling, Toastmasters, karate, making flower arrangements, listening to music, dancing, singing and her most favorite, casinos-playing poker. She really enjoyed being around her family and friends…she was always the life of the Party. She was very funny always a jokester, had a unique laugh that was contagious and unforgettable, and was deeply loved by many, her legacy and memory will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She will truly be missed ….

She was preceded in death by her father, Patricio Sevillo of Salinas, her mother, Mary Matias and stepfather Max Matias of Gonzales, son, Armando "Yeppa" Martinez and her grandson Hector Luis Martinez III. She is survived in death by her loving husband Hector Luis Martinez, her children, Cynthia Martinez-Schram (Ronald), Mark (Tony) Anthony Martinez and Hector Luis Martinez Jr, brothers, Patricio (Pat) Sevillo Jr., Epifanio (Butch) Sevillo, Eugene Sevillo, Grandchildren, Stephanie, Armando (Nick), Brittanie, Alfred (Freddie), Steven, Andrew (AJ), Drake, Zenna and Talan, Great Grandchildren, Carlos, Raymond, Travis, Shanelle, Jeremiah, Myla, Sonny, Giselle, Lilly, Andrew Jr and Angelo.

Per the family's request, ALL guests attending funeral service, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to wear a mask.

Visitation will be held 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday, September 13, 2021 at Struve and Laporte Chapel, 41 W. San Luis Street, Salinas, CA. 93901.

Rosary will be held 5:00p.m. at Struve and Laporte Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Madonna Del Sasso Church, 320 E. Laurel Drive, Salinas, CA. 93906.

Burial to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott Street, Salinas, CA. 93901.
