Mr. Jimmy Lee Ford, went home to rest on Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born in Eatonton, Georgia on December 11, 1953 to the late Mr. Honey Williams and Mrs. Susie Lee Ford.
His leaves to mourn his passing: wife, Brenda Ann Ford; four children: Torsha Parks, Marcus Ford, Brittany Ford, and Risa Solomon (Bruce); four grandchildren, Tatyana Tripp, Dexter Tripp Jr., Breasia Ford, and Jordin Ford; two sisters Mrs. Bertha Stuart (Calvin, deceased) and Ms. Mary Alice Seaton (deceased); three brothers Mr. and Mrs. Hulin Ford of Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ford (Autherine, deceased) of Decatur, Georgia and Mr. Travis Ford of Atlanta, Georgia and Mr. Percy Ford (deceased); one aunt, Mrs. Shirley Farley of Eatonton, Georgia and Mr. Hubert Ford of Lithonia, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and great friends.
Mr. Jimmy Ford or "DD" as we all knew him, was well known in the Greensboro, Putnam, and Atlanta area. Whether you needed a quick fix on your car or just wanted to sit in the yard and talk, he was always around.
DD Ford was a friend to all.
