Larry Lafaun Keene, age 69, of West Monroe, passed away on September 9, 2021. He was born July 23, 1952, in Pascagoula, MS.
In 1972 Mr. Keene married Kathy Holloway in Calhoun, LA. He retired from the Department of Transportation in 2012.
Larry was a faithful servant and member of White's Ferry Road Church of Christ for over 40 years. He graduated from Calhoun High School in 1970.
He is survived by his spouse, Kathy Keene; brother, Jerry Keene (Tammy); children, Amanda Jenkins (Jason), Josh Keene (Heather), Kaleb Keene (Avery), and Katie Stephens (Zac); grandchildren, Emma McDaniel, Nolan Jenkins, Josiah and Brooklyn Keene, and Copeland, Maverick, Roman, and Ollie Stephens; nieces, Denise Summerhill and Jenna Allen; and nephews, Nathan and Jayden Keene.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Lovelle Keene; and two sisters, Pat Scarborough and Freda Jones.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Keene, Cody Allen, Beau Holloway, Matthew Summerhill, Stephen Summerhill, Jayden Keene, Josiah Keene, and Josh McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers will be Rudy Burns, Bill Durham, and Tom Williams.
