Carrie graduated from Clarenceville high school in 2001. She went on to Henry Ford Community College for one year and then went to Schoolcraft College where she earned her associates in arts degree in 2003. She worked at Bright House for 13 years until they merged with Spectrum. Carrie's first 10 years were in customer service in Livonia and she received a promotion and moved over to Bright House Business Solutions for her final three years. While working at Bright House full-time she also took full-time classes at Specs Howard and earned her degree in 2008

Carrie was VP of production for A. Taylor Media and did several other jobs through them. In the past two years she had her own photography business but hadn't quite got it going and she delivered groceries for Shipt and enjoyed doing that. She was just beginning to live her dream when she found out on March 15, 2019 that she had stage four breast cancer.

Carrie was loved by many and very happy. The biggest joy in her life was her fiancé of 3 1/2 years Kevin Habbert. We have never seen two people more in love. Carrie loved all kinds of music and went to many many concerts her favorite band of all was the Goo Goo Dolls and Buck Cherry, and she had a passion for Chihuahuas and all animals.
"And with the change, a new test of faith"
