Mrs. Dunn is survived by her spouse, Dennis Dunn; children, Michael Dunn, and Susan Dunn-Heslin, son in law Rob Heslin, grandchildren, David Dunn, Julie Wanzer, Cayla Wanzer, Charlotte Heslin, Sam Heslin, Kiley Heslin, and Casey Heslin.
Lynda spent her early years as a hairstylist in Atlanta, Georgia , then moved on to become a kindergarten teacher for approximately eight years, first at Maranatha Baptist Church\School and then at Faith Baptist Church\School . She was also the church pianist at Maranatha Baptist Church. She was beloved by her many students and was known for creating the most impressive bulletin boards and setting high standards for their education. Her last occupation before retirement was at Atlantic Southeast Airlines. She thrived as the receptionist with the soothing southern voice and was the office poet for anyone having a baby or an upcoming wedding. Her humor in her poetry was one of a kind! Her final years were devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren whom she adored.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors with Pastor Glen Anderson officiating. Masks are required . Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
