He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, August 11, 1958, to Chester Moray and Mabel Haymore Todd. He served a mission to Hawaii for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Doug completed his undergraduate education at the University of Utah and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from George Washington University. After completing his service as a U.S. Army doctor, he established his medical practice, specializing in Otolaryngology-head and neck surgery-in Klamath Falls. In addition to serving his patients and community for 17 years, he was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His greatest joy came in being with family, especially on the Oregon Coast and the beaches of Mexico. He enjoyed photographing nature and wildlife, horses, and Oregon and Utah collegiate sports.

A celebration of his life will be held on January 24, at 1 p.m., at 9501 South Poppy Lane (945 East), Sandy, Utah 84094.
