LEAD -- Services for Mrs. John (Tena) Van Der Werff, 60, will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr.Dwayne F. Knight officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Lawn Cemetery under direction of Daniel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Van Der Werff died Saturday evening at Homestake Hospital after approximately 18 months illness.
She was born July 6, 1913, in Lesterville to Theodore and Martha Ulmer. She .attended schools there. She married John Van Der Werff, Nov. 7, 1934 at Miller. They lived in Miller until moving to Lead in 1956.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
