Daughter of Paul Adolph and Ermine Migonett Berry Walter. Adele married Michael Andrew Green on June 21, 1959.


MARION - Adele Walter Green, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at MUSC of Marion after an illness. A graveside service for family only will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Old Town Cemetery directly behind First United Methodist Church in Marion. The service will be streamed live on the Richardson Funeral Home facebook page for all those unable to attend.


Mrs. Green was born in Ridgeland, a daughter of the late Ermine Berry Walter and Paul Adolph Walter. She was retired, having spent most her adult life buying and selling antiques. Mrs. Green was an avid tennis player, having taught lessons. She loved dancing, was a sports enthusiast, loved working with crafts, and following her children to different sporting events they were a part of. She was the kind of woman that loved life, spoke her mind and did exactly what she wanted to do. Mrs. Adele was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.


Surviving is her son, Michael A. Green, Jr. (Mary Anne) of Conway; a daughter, Karen G. Watts (Darry) of Conway; a sister, Myrna Walter Nolan (Maxy) of Athens, GA; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
