MONROE, MI November 5, 1941 September 5, 2021 Phyllis Orlene Hall, age 79 of Monroe, Michigan and Houston, Texas, passed away on September 5, 2021 at home.

Phyllis was born on November 5, 1941 in Newton, Kansas. She was one of six children born to the late Clinton and Laura (Hall) Spencer.
Phyllis attended Newton High School. She then started her career in the oil and gas industry. She worked as a secretary for 40 years before retiring.

In April of 1999, Phyllis married the love of her life,
Peter Weatherall, in Houston, Texas. They spent over 22 wonderful years together. During their marriage, Phyllis and Peter enjoyed traveling to different towns and meeting new people.

In her free time, Phyllis enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, and canning. She loved her family, but most importantly Phyllis loved spending time with her grandchildren.

To cherish her memory, Phyllis leaves her loving husband, Peter; children:
Jackie Spencer,
Robin Campbell, and
Marni Apple; and
grandchildren: Jaylene, Jayme, Jason, Robert, Maggie, Nelson, and Chloe.

Along with her parents, Phyllis is also preceded in death by her siblings:
Clinton,
Nellie,
Jack,
Helen, and
Jimmy.

In accordance with Phyllis' wishes, cremation has taken place. Everyone is invited to a memorial gathering on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Rupp FuneralHome from2:00 to 5:00 pm. A memorial service will begin at 4: 00 pm. Officiating is Rev. Larry Detruf.
