Elizabeth Parks, age 70, of Dothan, passed away early Wednesday morning, November 14, 2018 in a Dothan hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services for Ms. Parks will be held at 11AM Saturday, November 24, 2018 in the Chapel of the Angels at Woodland at Family First Funeral & Cremation Care with Pastor Sammy Parks officiating.

Burial will follow in the Gates of Heaven cemetery with Family First Funeral & Cremation Care directing.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, November 23, 2018 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Elizabeth Parks was born September 11, 1948 in Henry County, Alabama to the late Agnes and Willie Ander Vickers. Elizabeth, aka Lilly, worked as a housekeeper for 30+ years. Lilly had a love and passion for people and dancing; for her door was always open because she never met a stranger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Parks; her daughter, Sharon Parks; her brothers, Bobby Vickers, Jubilee Vickers, Willie Earl Vickers and Willie James Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her life and legacy, her four loving children, Ricky Vickers, Fitzgerald Parks (Tasha), Willie Parks (Kaneisha) & Lashay Parks (Leroy) all of Dothan, AL; thirteen grandchildren, Keisha and Joshua Berry, Contravius, Lakira, Kyshunn, Marquis, Makayla, Atajah, Willie, Ethan, Erign, and Emma Parks all of Dothan, AL and Zymez Owen of Altlanta, GA; six sisters, Gertrude (Thomas) Myhand, Shirley (Tim) Patterson, Minnie (Charles) Pearce, Mary Jackson, Daisy Jackson and Sheila Jackson all of Dothan, AL; four brothers, Chester (Louise) Vickers , James Vickers, (Betty) Billy Vickers, all of Dothan, AL and Lewis (Antionette) Vickers of Mobile, AL; three aunts, Mary and Daisy Sewell and Willie Dean Craddock; a special friend, Larry McGhee; eight great- grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
