Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Village Chapel for Phillip Paul Farmer, 58, Gadsden, who died Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Pastor Tommy Marshall will officiate. Burial will follow at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Phillips was a simple man, but he was very compassionate and would help anyone in need. He was a dog-lover and an avid Alabama Football fan. More than anything else, he loved his grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Addis and Jewell Farmer; and brothers, Danney Farmer and Donald Farmer.
He is survived by his children, Phillip (Ashley) Farmer and Robin Farmer; grandchildren, Andrianna, Olyvia, Francisco, Juan, Greyson, Landon, and Kayleigh; siblings, Joyce, Brenda, Rebecca, Rueben, and Nedra; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Special thanks to Taylor Holland and the Alley's Carpet work family, Gadsden Regional MICU staff, Dr. Higgins, Dr. Kaleem, and Dr. Warren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
