Born August 27, 1933, in Tift County, Mrs. Wood was the daughter of the late Ollie Lee "Jack" Dillard and Lavine "Lucy" Coker Dillard. She was also preceded in death by one son, Ray Wood; one grandson, Joe Hullett; two brothers, Junior Dillard and Herman Dillard; and two sisters, Dorthy Erkine and Susie Watts.
Mrs. Wood is survived by her husband, Sam Duncan Wood of Norman Park; two daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Randy Bromlow and Janice and Steve Kilgore, all of Norman Park; two brothers, Aubrey Dillard of Lenox and Joey Dillard of Nashville; one sister, Lucy Whitmore of Westfield, Massachusetts; ten grandchildren; 27, great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bowen Donaldson Home For Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
