Margaret Luis Edwards passed away on August 30, at the age of 96 in Reno, NV. She was born in Merced, CA on June 11, 1925.

Margaret grew up on her family farm and enjoyed her 7 siblings. She was a loving wife, mother (Betty and Janice), grandmother (4), great grandmother (8), and a loyal friend. Margaret was a gifted seamstress, cook, and an aerobics superstar. She enjoyed being active, attending bingo, going to church, and loved Portuguese festas. Margaret was independent and lived on her own until she was 95 years young. She loved and enjoyed her family very much, never missing a family get together or holiday. Her eggplant parmesan will be sorely missed.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Harris (Gary). She is survived by her daughter Janice Canisso (Alvan) and extended family. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

Viewing will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 17th at St. Anthony's Church with burial to follow at Winton Cemetery.
