Mr. Wayne Bradley Turner, 54, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Turner will be held on Sunday, September 12, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Pastor Jereme Chaney will officiate, and interment will follow in Trice Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until the funeral hour.
Mr. Turner was born in Thomaston on March 16, 1967, to the late James Palmer Turner and Helen Louise Railey Turner. He was known as a ranblin' man and was employed by Evans Construction. Mr. Turner was of the Christian faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Turner was preceded in death by three brothers: David, Glenn, and Tandy Turner. Survivors include a son, Bradley James "BJ" Turner of Thomaston; two daughters: Courtney (Jon Boi) Turner and Elise Turner (Josh "Blue") Hutchens, both of Thomaston; a sister, Susan Turner Wilson of Thomaston; two brothers: Bill "Tiger" Turner and Johnny Turner, both of Thomaston; eight grandchildren: Lexi Turner, Ryder Ann, Tracy Smith, Liam Smith, Dylan Hutchens, Ashlyn Raybon, Axl Hutchens, and Aleah Hutchens; and his fur baby, Dixie Chick. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
